Today I haven't had any temptations because my stomach has been so upset (probably because of giving into temptation this weekend). I always go into tempting situations with a game plan and a positive mind, and I ALWAYS fail. I am not sure I am strong enough to be around food and not eat it. Besides giving in and eating the food, I always eat way more than I should, hence being overweight. I need to stop giving in and stop overeating. I ordered The End of Overeating and it should be here tomorrow. I forget which blog I follow that said this book changed their life. I am excited to really look into my overeating.
For me, when I'd tell myself that I couldn't have certain foods, I was always sure to fail. Now, I totally allow myself to have a small portion - which I try to eat as slowly as possible, to enjoy every bite. But, it's not really a fail if you continue to get back on track. You can do it! =D

ReplyDeleteI have been using the Weight Watchers three bite rule. "1st small bite - savor it, close your eyes, make love to it. 2nd small bite - still delicious! 3rd small bite - yep - tastes like the last two bites. That's all for me!"
