Thankful Thursday

I want to thank Alan for sharing the June Boom! challenge.  I am excited for this challenge because I do much better when I have a challenge.  With that said, I have a problem today.  I work all day then I go straight to my cousins senior performace.  I probably wont get home till close to 11:00 tonight.  What to do, what to do?  I walked the stairs for about 15 minutes today.  I wanted to do more but a coworker came in to talk about a student and I got a late start.  Do I workout at 11:00 tonight?  Thats seems crazy to me.  Suggestions?

  1. For me, if I make a commitment to myself, I try to stick to it regardless. If I start making excuses onces, it soon becomes a week and then a month.

    You know how you are better than anyone else. If you are one that can get right back at it, good for you! I just know it wouldn't work for me.

  2. I agree with you Bruce - thats why I'm upset about it! I don't want to miss any day at all - that why its a challenge!

  3. I would just workout when I got home, if your gym isnt open than I would run for a while and then do some bodyweight stuff

  4. Alan sent me over. :) I would just do a little something at home. Crunches, push ups, hand weights if you have them.

  6. Are you able to take another quick 10 to 15 minute break? Are there stairs at the Senior Performance - can you do those during an intermission? What about walking around the campus before the performance begins? When I stand near a copier for long print jobs at my work, I rock back and forth giving myself some sort of motion when I am standing - not a full work out, but I feel like I am working out. Good Luck and enjoy that performance.

  7. I suggested the Special K Zumba on youtube to you before. Maybe you can do that tonight for 30 minutes. I know you'd like it. The problem for me is, I can't work out that late or I won't be able to sleep!

  8. Thanks guys! You are all so supportive! I ended up doing the 15 minutes on the stairs and 8 minute abs. Not a wonderful workout but it was pretty much all the free time I had yesterday!
