Workbook Wednesday

I've changed Wednesdays to Workbook Wednesday.  Since I am taking these wellness classes, I am constantly learning about myself.  I have a lot of workbooks and activities I complete.  I plan on sharing what I have learned about myself on Wednesdays...Maybe you guys can relate.

Today I focused on my career and my overall happiness in my career.  I had to list 5 things I like and dislike about my current position. 

  • The kids
  • Helping people
  • Location
  • My boss
  • Co-workers
  • Salary
  • Upper management
  • Morale
  • I can't trust anyone there
  • Stress
I also had to list 5 reasons I want to become a health coach and change my career
  • To help others
  • To share my (hopeful) success story
  • To be my own boss
  • To stay healthy
  • To inspire others

These may sound like silly little exercises, but I have realized that I really never take the time to think about these things.  My life will never improve if I don't brainstorm and plan on my next move.  Here's to change!

  1. Oh, man...some of your dislikes are MAJOR impacts on how you feel about work. That totally blows. But I love that you're doing this so you can see what you can change to have a healthier work atmosphere. Good job!
